What is hypnosis and what is hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness in which focus attention and relaxation are increased, facilitating the response to suggestions. It is a natural state that we experience daily, for example, when daydreaming or mind wandering.
Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis in therapy. It works by inducing a hypnotic state that increases relaxation and helps people focus on inner experiences.
I use hypnotherapy to help you with:
-anxiety and stress management
-fears and phobias
-relaxation
-increase confidence/self-esteem
-public speaking anxiety
-self-discovery
What happen in a session?
After an initial assessment and consultation, during which we will discuss your needs and goals, I will invite you to relax and gently guide you into a state of physical and mental relaxation. While relaxed, I will give you some positive suggestions to address your specific needs, and then I will gently let you return to a wakeful state. Most people find the experience deeply relaxing and pleasant. However, results may vary, and success is not guaranteed.
Each session lasts approximately 50-60 minutes. The number of recommended sessions will be decided during the initial consultation.
There may be occasions when Hypnotherapy is not appropriate or beneficial, and this will be discussed during the initial consultation.
